Wahoo Decks announced today from the International Builders’ Show at Booth #C6747 the launch of one of its newest products, Fortis, a non-watertight aluminum decking board system.
“We see great potential in rooftop applications,” said Jon Bailey, Vice President of Wahoo Decks. “Fortis gives architects and developers an option of having a durable roof deck product that is a fraction of the weight of concrete pavers or composites.”
Like other decking products from Wahoo Decks, Fortis is manufactured using 50% post industrial, post consumer scrap aluminum. All of the Fortis aluminum decking boards are fireproof, powder coated, marine grade aluminum and are manufactured and assembled in the U.S.
Fortis is available three different decking colors: sandstone, granite, or artisan clay.
The 8” aluminum deck board has a safe, non-skid surface that naturally stays cooler to the touch compared to other traditional decking planks. It is also designed for high traffic use in the most demanding environments, making Fortis is ideal for residential and commercial decking applications.
