Wahoo Decks announced today that Creed Construction has installed the award-winning AridDek aluminum decking board system, at Wabash Bar and Grill in Manhattan, Kansas, for its durability, low-maintenance, and fire safety.
“I ultimately chose AridDek aluminum decking for fire safety reasons,” says Jerald Creed of Creed Construction. “Considering we allow smoking on our rooftop, I wanted to choose a product that was safe. AridDek does not allow water, beer, or cigarette butts to fall through the decking onto the rooftop. We are able to sweep debris to a catch basin and clean nightly, and it prevents fire hazard. With an interlocking design that provides a beautiful, low-maintenance non-combustible deck surface, AridDek also incorporates an integrated gutter system to create a dry area under the deck.
