Wahoo Decks announced today that Sifen Inc. has installed DryJoistEZ (U.S. Pat. No. 8,276,344), an award winning structural deck drainage system with a built-in waterproof solution, in its newest development, Radius Urban Apartments. Sifen Inc. chose DryJoistEZ for its low-maintenance eco-friendly features, durability and ease of installation.
Radius Urban Apartments were developed to raise the bar in eco-conscious and green residential communities. From top to bottom, Sifen selected environmentally friendly materials that would also outlast more traditional options. In keeping with this approach, Don Smith, Senior Vice President for Sifen Inc., wanted a balcony material that would act as a low maintenance, visually appealing alternative to wood framing. He discovered DryJoistEZ, a sustainable, environmentally responsible deck drainage system from Wahoo Decks that would act as a waterproof deck structure and a finished ceiling with a beadboard appearance, all in one.
